Removal
Preparations
Remove the heater. See Engine coolant heater, replacing See: Service and Repair/Engine Coolant Heater, Replacing.
Remove the control module. See Control module, engine coolant heater, replacing See: Auxiliary Cabin Heater Control Module/Service and Repair.
Fuel line and fuel pump
Warning! Protective gloves and protective goggles must be used for the following operations. This is due to the risk of fuel spillage.
Remove the hose clamp from the fuel hose.
Disconnect the fuel pump connector.
Note! Use Oetiker pincers 3374 to slacken off and secure the Oetiker clamps.
