Install the steering shaft on the steering column

Ensure that the splines on the steering shaft are clean

Lubricate the steering shaft splines and the steering column bearing. Use low temperature grease,P/N 1161417-9(30 grams).
Lubrication is important to avoid noise from the steering column.
