V70 2.4 L5-2.4L VIN 61 B5244S (2001)
Lubricate the stop using a soap solution. Install the stop in the dust boot.
Install:
^
the bump stop and dust boot
^
the grommet (coat the grommet with a soap solution)
^
the upper spring seat
^
the support plate
^
the upper mounting for the spring strut
^
the nut. Finger tighten
^
the upper spring seat so that the holes in both the spring seats line up.
Carefully release the spring. Check that the end of the spring is correctly positioned in the stop at the spring seats.
Use socket 9995500 and wrench 9995758. Tighten the nut. Tighten to 65 Nm.
Coat the bearing in grease.
Install the dust cover.
Remove the spring strut from the tool.
