REPLACING MECHANISM

Replacing mechanism 1

Remove (entire mechanism):
-

Sun roof. See: Service and Repair

-

Sun visor. See: Sunroof / Moonroof Windguard/Service and Repair

-

Wind deflector. See: Sunroof / Moonroof Windguard/Service and Repair

-

Cables. Replacing Cables. See: Sunroof / Moonroof Cable/Service and Repair

-

Gutter. 2 screws on each side

Replacing mechanism 2

Press mechanism out and pull forwards

Note:  Never pull the mechanism straight up.

Replacing mechanism 3

The mechanism is mounted in a guide at the rear.

Replacing mechanism 4

Install (entire mechanism):
Install in reverse order.
