Replacement of Sips Bag In Front Seat
SIPS Bag Released Or Maintenance Replacement
WARNING: The SIPS bag cannot be repaired. The SIPS bag is always replaced as a complete unit, consisting of sensor unit, firing circuit
and cushion module.
CAUTION: When reupholstering seat back, use only Volvo original or Volvo approved seat upholstery for SIPS bag.
Removal

If SIPS bag was not released:
First lock SIPS bag!

Lift up the seat pocket. Lift the front edge and push pocket backward.

Remove transport safety device from its holder inside the seat pocket.

Attach transport safety device to sensor unit.
