SERVICE CAMPAIGN 101A DESCRIPTION
Volvo Cars of North America, Inc. and Volvo Cars of Canada Ltd. have determined that, on certain vehicles, there may be inadequate clearance
between the headlamp wiper blade and the stop lug. The vehicles affected by this campaign are model year 1998-2000 S70, V70. C70 and model
year 2001 C70.
The corrective action consists of replacing the stop lugs and, if necessary, adjust the headlight wiper arms.
Approximately 168,369 vehicles in the US and 25,818 vehicles in Canada are affected. Volvo will notify owners of affected vehicles in phases,
starting with owners of model year 1998 vehicles. Mailing is expected to begin during the week of March 19, 2001.
