Cut off the cable harness as shown. This is done to make it easier to remove the cable harness.
Remove the remaining part of the cable harness with connector.

Raise the car

Remove:

-

the connector from the control unit

-

control module from the vehicle

-

cable harness from its brackets

-

cable harness from the vehicle

Check that the fuel line is located in its clamps.

Vehicles with fuel pump module located in the spare wheel well's right trailing edge

Remove:

-

the luggage compartment mat/floor hatches so that the spare wheel well can be released

-

the connector from the control unit

-

the control module from Velcro fastener
