Fold the backrest. Pull the seat to the forward-most position.
Remove the cover for the seat mounting.
Lift the upper edge of the sill trim panel.
Visual inspection of second row outer end mountings, lower, continued.

The lock facing is in the correct position here.
Note!
It is important that the bright metal lock facing plate (shaded in the illustration) lie flat against the end mounting, and that the lock pin is all the way
through the other side.
B:
If the lock facing plate does not lie flat, replace the end mounting according to the method in VADIS.
