Hood Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair

Removing the hood catch cable

Disconnect the mechanical cable. See Hood catch, replacing See: Hood Latch/Service and Repair.

Remove:

-

the sill trim panel. See Sill trim panel, replacing See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Sill Trim Panel, Replacing

the hood catch mechanism

-

the panel for the hood catch mechanism.

Unhook the cable from the hood catch mechanism.
