Hint: Before pulling out the cable sleeve, mark the sleeve using tape or a marker pen. Then install the new cable sleeve following the old one, so that the
marking is in the correct place.

Pull the cable sleeve out of the engine compartment. Leave the plastic pipe in position.

Note! Note how the cable sleeve is routed to the hood catches.

Installing the mechanical cable for the hood catches

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications See: Specifications.

Feed the cable sleeve into the plastic pipe to its correct position. Ensure that the marking is at the front of the plastic pipe.

Install the panel for the hood catch mechanism. Hook the cable into place.

Install:

the hood catch mechanism

the 1 M6 screw for the hood catch mechanism. Tighten
