Lock mechanism, tailgate, replacing

Lock mechanism tailgate upper, replacing
Removing the lock mechanism for the upper tailgate
Remove the panel. See Panel, tailgate, replacing .
Remove:
-
the connector
-
the mechanical cable for the inner opening handle
-
the mechanical cable for the external opening handle.
Remove the 3 screws.
Angle out the lock mechanism.
Installing the lock mechanism for the upper tailgate
Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications See: Specifications.
Install:
-
the lock mechanism
-
the 3 M8 screws. Tighten

the mechanical cable for the outer opening handle
-
the mechanical cable for the inner opening handle
-
the connector
-
the panel. See Panel, tailgate, replacing .
