Reinstall the panel. Lightly secure the panel using the right-hand screw.

Mark for drilling using a pin punch. Punch through the upper right-hand hole in the panel before drilling in point 6

Remove the panel again.

Drill through the dashboard. Use a 3 mm (1/8") diameter drill bit. Use a 17 mm (43/64") drill stop

Remove any swarf.
