Upholstery back rest, replacing

Removal

Removing backrest

Note! As the illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and / or models, some variation may occur. However,
the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.

Note! To carry out this work a zip fastener is required. This is not included in the upholstery but is ordered separately. 6 mm zip fastener part
number: 3533976 is used and in some cases zip fastener 4 mm, part number: 9459316

Fold up the cushion.

Remove:

-

the side cushion. See Side cushion See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat, Passenger Seat, Seat/Side Cushion. Disconnect
the connector by the hinge

-

screw mounting by the hinge

-

the screw for the seatbelt end mounting.

Remove the strap(s) for the fold-down mechanism and seat belt buckles (hooked onto the lower edge of the backrest).
Lift out the backrest.

Removing the backrest upholstery (40%)

Remove:

-

the lock side piece. See Lock side piece See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat, Passenger Seat, Seat/Lock Side Piece
