Preparation
Remove the wheel.
Install tensioner999 5659 Tension caliper See: Tools and Equipment/999 5659 Tension Caliper. See Tensioner 999 5659, User instructions See: Service
and Repair/User Instructions. Set the rear suspension to the normal position.
Removing the lateral link
Remove:
-
both the screws for the lateral link
-
the lateral link.
Tightening torque
For tightening torques, see Specifications See: Steering/Specifications/Mechanical Specifications.
Installing the lateral link
Install the lateral link. Use new screws.
Tighten the screws (M12).
Finishing
Lower and remove the tensioner. See Tensioner 999 5659, User instructions See: Service and Repair/User Instructions.
