At this point the camshaft plugs will be exposed as in the picture but there should be no need to remove any since the repair addresses missing plugs

Cleaning:
Note!
Ensure that the component is clean and free from foreign materials and lubricant.
Clean the mating surface for the camshaft plug. Use: Cleaner, 1161828.
Wipe dry using a lint free cloth.
Clean again. Use: Isopropanol, 1161721. Blow dry with compressed air.
