Remove:

the bolt holding the protective plate on the steering gear, x1
-
the bolt holding the protective plate to the subframe, x1
-
the protective plate.
Removing the steering gear
Remove:
-
the nuts (1), x4
-
the bolt (2), x1
-
the steering gear through the left-hand side of the vehicle.
