Preparatory work
Removing link arm
Remove the link arm according to: Control arm front, replacing See: Control Arm/Service and Repair.
Note! The following method shows the position of the bushings in relation to the link arm.
This method shows work done on left link arm. The placement on the right side is mirror-imaged.
Note! It is very important for the bushings characteristics and service life that they are positioned correctly.
Removal
Removing the front bushing
Place the link arm in a workshop press. Use 999 7211 Drift See: Tools and Equipment/999 7211 Drift and 999 7210 Socket See: Tools and
Equipment/999 7210 Socket.
Press out the bushing.
Installation
