Removing

• ‒ Remove turbocharger => Page 21-46.
• ‒ Detach front exhaust system clamp.
• ‒ Push clamp back to separate exhaust system.
• ‒ Turn catalytic converter with exhaust pipe aside or towards front.

• ‒ → Unscrew all nuts -arrows- of exhaust manifold.
• ‒ Detach washers, heat shield bracket (where fitted) and exhaust manifold.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Replace gaskets and self-locking nuts.

• ‒ Install catalytic converter with exhaust pipe.
• ‒ Install turbocharger => Page 21-52.
• ‒ Perform stress-free alignment of exhaust system => Page 26-23.

Tightening torques
