4. Open quick-release fasteners and remove engine compartment trim on both sides (Figure 16, points 1 and 3).

5. Unplug electrical connector (Figure 17, 3) from air mass meter 2 G246 and electrical connector (Figure 17, 5) from air mass meter G70.

6. Release hose clips (Figure 17, points 2 and 4).

7. Remove all bolts (Figure 17, arrows) from air cleaner housing.

8. Detach bellows (Figure 17, points 1 and 6) from air cleaner housing.

9. Remove air cleaner housing together with air mass meters.

10. Remove relay lever bolts (Figure 18, points 9 and 15)

11. Pull out bearing sleeves (Figure 18, points 12 and 16) and lubricate relay levers with grease G 052 147 A2.
