Detach the crankcase ventilation hose. | | -
Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor multiplug. | | -
Detach the spark plug connectors and unclip the cables from the cylinder head cover. | | -
Remove the cylinder head cover. | Installation All vehicles | -
NOTE:Install a cylinder head cover gasket, if required Install the cylinder head cover. - Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown, in three stages.
- Stage 1: Screw in bolt 1 by three to four turns.
- Stage 2: Tighten bolts 1 to 13 to 3 Nm.
- Stage 3: Tighten bolts 1 to 13 to 9 Nm.

CAUTION:In order to prevent damage to the spark plug connector seal, coat the seal with silicone grease before attaching. Attach the spark plug connectors and clip the cables to the cylinder head cover. | | -
