Rear Suspension - Rear Stabilizer Bar Cougar 1999 (08/1998-01/2001)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the right-hand wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to Section  204-04 Wheels and Tires.

  1. Detach the stabilizer bar from the stabilizer bar connecting links (both ends).

  1. Remove the stabilizer bar clamps (one each side).

  1. Remove the stabilizer bar.

Installation
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The final tightening of the rear suspension components must be carried out with the vehicle weight on the wheels.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
