Disconnect the battery ground cable. | | | -
Remove the liftgate window wiper. | | | -
Disconnect the liftgate heated window glass electrical connectors. | Vehicles with center high mounted stoplamp | | -
Remove the center high mounted stoplamp cover. | | | -
Remove the center high mounted stoplamp. - Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE:With the aid of another technician, hold the liftgate window glass from outside the vehicle. From inside the vehicle, pull back the weatherseal and push out the liftgate window glass. | | | -
Remove the weatherseal from the liftgate window glass. | Installation All Vehicles | | -
Install the weatherseal onto the liftgate window glass. | | | -
Fit a length of strong cord into the weatherseal channel and overlap the cord ends. | | | -
NOTE:Position the liftgate window glass in the opening flange. NOTE:Pull the cord from inside the vehicle, at the same time, with the assistance of another technician applying continuous pressure to the liftgate window glass from outside the vehicle. Install the liftgate window glass. | Vehicles with center high mounted stoplamp | | -
Install the center high mounted stoplamp. - Connect the electrical connector.
