Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05A Interior Trim and Ornamentation / 501-05B Interior Trim and Ornamentation.
  1. Connect the window operating switch.

  1. Remove the door trim panel bracket.
    • Drill out the rivets.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired.
    Detach the watershield.
    • Using a plastic knife (disposable cutlery), cut through the Butyl strip to enable the watershield to be peeled back.

  1. Detach the window runner.

  1. Remove the window runner.
    • Using a plastic knife (disposable cutlery), cut through the Butyl strip around the door lock shield.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Hold the window glass at the top of the opening.
    Detach the glass from the regulator.
    • Loosen the screws.
  1. Lower the glass by hand to the bottom of the door.

  1. Remove the weatherstrip.

  1. Remove the window glass.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
