Remove the exterior trim moulding and license plate lamps. - Remove the retaining screws.
- Disconnect the license plate lamp electrical connectors.

Disconnect the liftgate latch cable from the liftgate lock assembly. | | | -
Remove the liftgate lock assembly. | | | -
Remove the liftgate lock cylinder retaining ring. | | | -
Remove the liftgate lock cylinder spring. | | | -
Remove the liftgate lock cylinder. | Installation | | -
To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | |
