Removal and Installation

Removal

All Vehicles
  1. Remove the radiator air deflector.

  1. Remove the radiator grill.

  1. Disconnect the hood latch electrical connector.
Vehicles with air conditioning
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Remove the splash shield.

  1. Disconnect the horn electrical connector.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:The radiator and condenser will drop slightly when the support bracket is removed.
    Remove the radiator support bracket.

  1. Partially lower and support the radiator using a suitable piece of wire.
    • Secure around the bottom hose.
  1. Lower the vehicle.

  1. Support the radiator using a suitable piece of wire.
    • Support around the top hose.
All Vehicles
  1. Remove the hood latch.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
