Drain the cooling system.
For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding in this section.

Remove the battery upper cover.

Remove the engine compartment noise reduction panel.

Disconnect the coolant hoses from the coolant expansion tank.

Remove the coolant expansion tank retaining bolts.

Remove the coolant hose from the coolant expansion tank.

Disconnect the engine coolant level sensor electrical connector and remove the coolant expansion tank.

To install, reverse the procedure.
