	303-1178 Timing Tool Camshaft
	303-1179 Holding Wrench, Crankshaft
	303-1180 Installer, Crankshaft Front Seal
	303-1181 Installer, Crankshaft Rear Seal
	303-1182 Timing Tool, Crankshaft
	303-318 Aligner/Installer, Crankshaft Front Seal

Torque: 17 Nm

NOTE:The component must be installed within 5 minutes of applying the sealant. Material: Sealant - Loctite 510

NOTE:Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.

General Equipment: Round-ended steel rule

Torque: 17 Nm

Torque: 17 Nm

Torque: 6 Nm

Special Tool(s): 303-1180

Special Tool(s): 303-1181

Torque: Stage 1: 20 Nm Stage 2: 60 Nm Stage 3: 130°

Install the locating pins. X = 15 mm. Apply engine oil to all camshaft bearings. Material: Engine Oil - 5W-30

Material: Sealant - Loctite 510

Torque: 17 Nm

Special Tool(s): 303-318

NOTE:The crankshaft timing pulley can only be installed in 1 position on the crankshaft splines. Torque: 7 Nm

NOTE:Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.

Torque: 25 Nm Torque: 12 Nm

Torque: Stage 1: 35 Nm Stage 2: 75°

Install the Special Tool(s): 303-1178 Torque: 10 Nm

Using the special tool, adjust the crankshaft to TDC. Install the Special Tool(s): 303-1182

NOTE:Make sure that the camshaft sprockets can rotate on the camshafts.

Torque: 20 Nm NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed. Depending on the engine temperature, tension the timing belt. Torque: 20 Nm

Torque: 120 Nm

Remove the Special Tool(s): 303-1178

Remove the Special Tool(s): 303-1182

Rotate the crankshaft two revolutions clockwise.

Using the special tool, adjust the crankshaft to TDC. Install the Special Tool(s): 303-1182

Check the position of the timing marks and correct if neccessary.

Torque: 35 Nm

Torque: 17 Nm

Remove the Special Tool(s): 303-1182

Torque: 40 Nm

Torque: 50 Nm

Torque: 10 Nm

Special Tool(s): 303-1179 Torque: 180 Nm Torque: Stage 1: 25 Nm Stage 2: 60°

Torque: 8 Nm
