Removal and Installation
There are two methods that are used to identify leaks in the fuel system:
  • the electronic leak detector
  • the liquid leak detector
Electronic Leak Detector
This type of equipment is very sensitive to the presence of any hydrocarbons, which may give misleading results. If the electronic leak detector indicates a leak, verify the results with a liquid leak detector.
Liquid Leak Detector
After applying the liquid to the LPG system, the suspect area must be watched very closely. If bubbles begin to expand from an area, a leak has been detected.
