Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Socket and key -3310-
t  8 mm hexagon socket or TORX T50 socket
  W00-0299
Removal:
–  Remove alternator → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
–  If fitted, press off protective cap on alternator pulley.
–  Counterhold on securing nut using socket -3310- and turn alternator shaft clockwise to loosen.
–  Detach poly V-belt pulley.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  Turn alternator shaft anti-clockwise to tighten.
–  Clip in the protective cap to the belt pulley of the alternator.
