Actuator rod for manual slider - replacing steel spring and screw for shift shaft > < Remove the slide valve body
Install slide valve body
   
Install slide valve body
–  Position the slide valve body without force on the gearbox.
–  Turn the manual slider -1- with the offset side -arrow- towards the actuator rod -2-.
–  Hook the actuator rod with the lever into the manual slider, as shown in the figure.
l  Fitting position manual slider: Flat part of the manual slider -1- to the gearbox.

–  Tighten the screws for the slide valve body -arrows- in 2 stages as follows:
1.  Tighten by hand.
2.  Tighten from inside to outside and crosswise to 5 Nm.
–  Move conductor foil in such a way that it is not bent or turned when installing.
–  Pull plug of conductor foil through the gearbox housing.
–  Insert cable bushing and tighten securing screw -1-.
–  Adjust actuator rod for manual slider → Chapter.
–  Install ATF strainer → Chapter.
–  Top up ATF after repair → Chapter.
