Adjust actuator rod for manual slider > < Install slide valve body
Actuator rod for manual slider - replacing steel spring and screw for shift shaft
   
Actuator rod for manual slider - replacing steel spring and screw for shift shaft
l  Slide valve body installed.
l  The screw with the steel spring -arrow- must be replaced after each disassembly.
–  Release screw for steel spring -arrow-.
–  Remove the steel spring with actuator rod and lever from the shift shaft in the gearbox.
–  Unhook actuator rod from manual slider.
  Note
Make sure that the manual slider does not fall out of the slide valve body.
–  Move the shift shaft with the shift segment into position “1”.
–  Slightly pull the manual slider out of the slide valve body.

–  Turn the manual slider -1- with the offset side -arrow- towards the actuator rod -2-.
–  Hook the actuator rod with the lever into the manual slider, as shown in the figure.
l  Fitting position manual slider: Flat part of the manual slider -1- to the gearbox.

–  Insert the actuator rod -1- from below into the collar -arrow- of the lever -2- at the shift shaft.

–  Hook in the new steel spring -2- with new screw -1- via the end of the actuator rod -3--arrow A- and slide it with the bottom catch over the actuator rod -arrow B-. At the same time centre the top steel spring on the collar of the lever -arrow A-.
–  Swivel the steel spring fully via the lever.
–  Screw in the screw further until it is flush with the lower edge of the lever.
  Note
Only after adjusting the actuator rod, the screw is finally tightened.
–  Adjust actuator rod for manual slider → Chapter.
