Crankshaft Pulse Pick-up, Remove and Install
 Remove

Remove engine cover.
Remove fastening bolts for coolant pipe and press coolant pipe
forwards.
Remove lower engine compartment cover – see operation
"Lower Engine Compartment Cover, Remove and Install" in group
"A".
Disconnect wiring harness plug for crankshaft pulse pick-up (1)
and unclip from bracket – bare cable.
Remove crankshaft pulse pick-up from cylinder block.

Install
Attach crankshaft pulse pick-up to cylinder block with new seal
ring – tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.
Clip wiring harness plug into bracket and connect – note
cable routing.
Install lower engine compartment cover – see operation
"Lower Engine Compartment Cover, Remove and Install" in group
"A".
Attach coolant pipe.
Install engine cover.
