Replace carpet - complete - L67

  Remove

1.   Remove front quarter panel inner panelling - both sides LUREF_1.gif
2.   Remove front seats
3.   Remove rear seat backrest
4.   Remove sill panelling - both sides LUREF_1.gif
5.   Detach footwell instrument panel padding left and right
•   Unscrew 2x screws on driver's side and remove footwell panelling from bracket
•   Unscrew 2x screws on passenger's side and remove footwell panelling from bracket

6.   Remove centre console
7.   Remove airbag control unit
•   Unscrew 3x nuts (1) and remove control unit
•   Release 2x wiring harness plugs and disconnect

8.   Remove bracket from diagnostics plug (1)
•   Unclip clip
•   Unscrew 3 nuts (2)
•   Remove bracket

9.   Loosen cable duct (1)
•   Detach earthing strap
– Unscrew nut (3)
•   Disconnect 2x wiring harness plugs (2)

10.   Remove instrument panel padding bracket - both sides
•   Unscrew 6x bolt

11.   Loosen shifter rod in the engine compartment
Note:   Mark installation position.
•   Loosen bolt (1)
12.   Remove cage
•   Unscrew 4x screws and remove cage with shifter rod

13.   Remove carpet (2) beginning from rear
•   Unscrew quick lock

  Install

14.   Lay carpet beginning at the front
•   Unscrew quick lock
15.   Install cage
•   Insert selector cage with sliding selector shaft
•   Tighten 4x bolt
16.   Attach shifter rod in the engine compartment
Note:   Pay attention to marks
•   Tighten the bolt
17.   Install instrument panel padding bracket - both sides
•   Tighten 6x bolts
18.   Install cable duct
•   Attach earthing strap
– Tighten nut
•   Connect 2x wiring harness plugs
19.   Install bracket for diagnostics plug
•   Install bracket
•   Clip in clip
•   Tighten 3x nut
20.   Install airbag control unit
•   Tighten 3x nut
•   Connect 2x wiring harness plugs
21.   Install centre console
22.   Attach footwell instrument panel padding left and right
•   Tighten footwell panelling in bracket and screw in 2x screws on driver's side
•   Insert footwell panelling in bracket and tighten 2x screws on driver's side
23.   Install sill panelling - both sides LUREF_1.gif
24.   Install rear seat backrest
25.   Install front seats
26.   Install rear quarter panel inner panelling - both sides LUREF_1.gif
