Oil Pump Installation

Clean the sealing
surfaces. |
| 2. |
Clean the oil pump assembly
parts from old engine oil and dust. |

Note: The entire
procedure - applying of sealing compound and tightening with
appropriate torque - must not take more than 10 minutes.

Note: Refer to
electronic parts catalogue to find a suitable sealing compound.

| 3. |
Install a NEW sealing (1) to
the oil pump. |
| 4. |
Apply sealing compound along
the shaded area (2). |

Note: Lubricate the
oil pump rotors with engine oil.
|
| 5. |
Install the oil pump outer
rotor (1) and the oil pump inner rotor (2). |
|
Note: Mind the guide
sleeves.

| 6. |
Install the oil pump housing
(1). |
|
Note: Mind the
different bolt lengths.
|
| 7. |
Install the 9 oil pump bolts
(2) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in)
. |
| 8. |
Install the oil pump drive
shaft seal, using EN-657 installer (1).

| 9. |
Install the crankshaft front
oil seal, using EN-656 installer (1). |
