Thermostat, Remove and Install (Z 17 DTH, with AC, LHD)

Remove

1.	Open bonnet

Drain coolant

•	Place collecting basin underneath.

•	Open coolant drain bolt

3.	Unclip coolant hose

Disconnect upper radiator hose (1)

•	From thermostat housing cover

Detach wiring harness bracket (3)

•	Oil pressure switch, coolant temperature sensor

•	Unscrew 2 bolts

Remove thermostat housing cover (2)

•	Unscrew 2 bolts

•	Remove thermostat.

7.	Clean sealing surfaces

Install

Attach thermostat housing cover

•	Replace gasket

•	Insert thermostat

•	Tighten 2 bolts 23.5 Nm

Attach wiring harness bracket

•	Oil pressure switch, coolant temperature sensor

•

2 bolts

10.	Clip in coolant hose.

11.

Connect upper radiator hose

•	To thermostat housing cover

12.	Close coolant drain bolt

13.	Top up coolant

14.	Close bonnet
