LOAD SIGNAL VOLTAGE LOW

· Engine speed higher than 480 rpm
· The control unit has not recognised a
pulse width modulated signal after 0.4 s (short circuit to ground)
Effects:
· Solenoid valves (brake band,
1-2/3-4 shift, 2-3 shift, torque converter clutch) and electro-hydraulic
pressure regulator are switched off
· On fault recognition, the following
individual gears can still be shifted manually (emergency program):

Note:
Vehicles with petrol engines:
At engine speeds lower than 480
rpm, the lead from transmission control unit Ter. 55 is used to transfer the
coolant temperature, and at engine speeds higher than 480 rpm, to transfer
the engine load signal
Vehicles with diesel engines:
The lead from transmission
control unit Ter. 55 is used to transfer the driver request (load), injection
quantity and engine temperature in time multiplex.
