Remove transmission fluid pan (intermediate housing) – see operation "Transmission Fluid Pan (Intermediate Housing), Remove and Install and/or Seal, Replace".

Disconnect 4-pin wiring harness plug (2) to intermediate housing wiring harness from adapter (1).

Unclip connector (1) together with wiring harness plug X 10 from transmission housing (2) using small screwdriver. Do not damage retaining tabs.

Disconnect wiring harness plug X 10 (1) from connector (2).

Caution

In vehicles with V6 engine (see E 9196), danger of injury due to the heat shield of the front left exhaust pipe – sharp edges.

Connect wiring harness plug X 10 with connector. Insert connector together with wiring harness plug X 10 into transmission housing and engage. Connect 4-pin wiring harness plug (2) to intermediate housing wiring harness to connecting piece (1).

Install transmission fluid pan (intermediate housing) – see operation "Transmission Fluid Pan (Intermediate Housing), Remove and Install and/or Seal, Replace".
