Removing
1. Release and remove the manual gearbox lever boot.
1. Remove the gear lever grip (1a) using the tool (1b).
Protect the contact areas between the gear lever knob and the tool to prevent superficial damage using felt, bodywork tape, etc.

Refitting
Place the gear lever grip back in its housing using the special tool.

Place the manual gear lever boot back in its housing.
