O33 Belt rewinding failure

The seat belt does not rewind correctly and/or completely after the buckle is undone

Step	Test procedure	Result	Action
0	PRELIMINARY CHECKS Visually check that the belt does not show signs of kinks, loose threads and/or damage which prevent it from rewinding correctly	OK	Move onto step 1
		There are kinks in the front belt	Remove the kinks, if necessary replace belt Op. 7065A12 End of diagnosis
		There are kinks in the rear belt	Remove the kinks, if necessary replace belt Op. 7065B10 End of diagnosis
		Front belt damaged	Replace the front belt Op. 7065A12 End of diagnosis
		Rear belt damaged	Replace the rear belt Op. 7065B10 End of diagnosis
1	CORRECT FITTING CHECK Check that the system is correctly fitted	OK	Move onto step 2
1		Fitting not correct	See table O31 SEAT BELTS LOCKED End of diagnosis
2	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION Check that the fault is no longer present	OK	Incorrect selection of diagnostic procedure
