Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Check that the tyre treads are not unevenly worn.

NOTE: Some types of tyres have wear indicators; they must be replaced as soon as these indicators are visible.

NOTE: Do not cross-interchange the tyres.

Check that the tyre pressures are correct, including the spare tyre.

NOTE: The tyre pressures must be checked on cold tyres.

Check that all the lights are working: headlamps, direction indicators, hazard warning lights, boot light, courtesy light, glove compartment light and instrument panel warning lights.

Check that the windscreen wash-wipe system is working properly and if necessary adjust the jets.

Check that the windscreen and rear window wiper blades are positioned correctly and not worn.

Check condition and wear of front brake pads.

Check condition and wear of rear brake pads.

Visually check:

• bodywork exterior
• underbody protection
• pipes (exhaust, fuel and brake pipes)
• rubber components (dust excludes, hoses, bushes, etc.)
• brake hoses
• fuel pipes.

Visually inspect the condition of the accessory drive belt.

Check the adjustment of the handbrake lever travel Refer to op.. 3380A04 Handbrake - check travel .

Replace the air filter cartridge Refer to op.. 1048A14 Air cleaner filtering element - replace. .

Check and if necessary top up the coolant level Refer to op.. 0010T20 Coolant change .

Check and if necessary top up the brake fluid level Refer to op.. 3330A10 Brake fluid - check level and top up if necessary .

Check and if necessary top up the windscreen washer fluid.

Check and if necessary top up the battery fluid.

Check and if necessary top up the Selespeed gearbox fluid level Refer to op.. 2127C04 Hydraulic gear selection system transmission fluid - check level and top up if necessary .

Connect the Examiner or other diagnostic instruments to the diagnostic socket (select the relevant control unit).

Check the plausibility of all the parameters and if necessary carry out the available active diagnoses.

Replace the engine oil and filter Refer to op.. 0010T12 Engine oil and filter replace .

Replace the dust/pollen filter Refer to op.. 5010B09 Purifying filter (antipollen) filter element - replace .
