About Aston Martin

Aston Martin was founded in London in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford and has built hand-finished sports and grand touring cars ever since, from 1947 under David Brown, whose initials gave the DB series its name. Production moved to Newport Pagnell in the 1950s and to Gaydon in 2003.

The DB7 (1994-2004) revived the DB name: a 2+2 coupe and Volante convertible built at Bloxham, first with a supercharged 3.2 litre six-cylinder engine and from 1999 as the V12 Vantage. The manual here is the factory Workshop Manual, Issue II, Volume 2, covering the electrical system, wiring diagrams, airbags, body and trim, the Volante roof, air conditioning and the Aston Martin Lagonda diagnostic system for cars up to and including the 1997 model year.
