Maintenance

Spark Plugs

Removal

  1. Remove the inlet manifold (Refer to 'Inlet Manifold', page 3-2-7).
  2. Remove the spark plug cover.

  1. Disconnect the ignition coils. Remove the ignition coils.
  1. Remove the spark plugs.

Installation

  1. Install the spark plugs. Torque to 16-20 Nm.
  2. Install the ignition coils. Torque bolts to 5-7 Nm. Connect the ignition coils wiring harness plugs.
  3. Install the spark plug cover. Torque bolts to 2.5-3.5 Nm.
  4. Install the inlet manifold (Refer to 'Inlet Manifold', page 3-2-7).
