The 4.3 and 4.7 litre engines have an eight cylinder 90 degree 'Enclosed V' configuration liquid cooled aluminium cylinder block with dry cast liners.
When you sit in the driving position, the right-hand cylinder bank is designated A-bank and the left-hand cylinder bank as B-bank. The cylinders are numbered as shown in Figure 2.
