Slide retaining plate - B - with control motors on to heating A/C unit from below.

Check routing of electrical wire and make sure while installing that the wires do not come into contact with moving parts of the control motors and
flap levers.

Check position of bolts - C - and their fit in retaining plate guides (if retaining plate fits too loosely on bolts - C -, screw them in if necessary far
enough that there is no longer any play--do not tighten).

Install bolts - A -.

Install retaining plate - C - with Left Footwell Flap Motor V108 and Left Temperature Flap Motor V158 (only present on "Comfort" version A/C
system).

Install the remaining removed components again in reverse order.

Check DTC memory of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module J255 and erase DTCs displayed if necessary. Vehicle Diagnosis,
Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

Perform basic setting and output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) on the A/C system. Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051
