Please note:
After programming, the ignition must be switched off again in order to activate the
programmed settings in the control units.
"Key Memory" operating sequence
Settings relevant to the key are made in the "Key Memory" program. These settings are
allocated to a specific key with remote control.

After "Key Memory" is selected, the key with remote control with which the car was last
unlocked is identified. The number of this key appears on the screen.
Please note:
If the car was last unlocked mechanically at the door lock, the number of the last key to be
used to unlock the car by remote control appears on the screen after the identification
function of the "Key Memory" program is completed.

Select the key to which the settings are to be allocated. Continue with "arrow right".
Please note:
A separate programming procedure must be carried out for each key. Regardless of the
key with remote control identified, any key can be programmed by selecting the respective
number. The selected key does not have to be available during the programming
procedure. It is however advisable, to test the programmed settings with the respective key.

Test drive of vehicles programmed with "Car and Key Memory"
The seat position usually has to be adjusted by the mechanic carrying out the test drive. To
prevent the customer's individual setting from being changed, the vehicle must always be
unlocked mechanically at the door lock - the seat position can then be adjusted.
When the customer unlocks the vehicle in the customary manner with the remote control,
the settings which were last allocated to his key are reactivated.
Marking a key with remote control
The customer and the workshop should be able to differentiate between the individual keys.
For this reason, coloured labels are provided which can be attached at the relevant place
on the reverse of the key. These labels are supplied with the vehicle on delivery.
