7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Raise wiring harness (1).
Disconnect water pipe (2).
Note:
- Do not damage main flow oil filter cover (1).
- Release and tighten down with a socket only.
- When the main flow oil filter cover (1) is released, the oil
flows back into the sump.
Release main flow oil filter cover (1) and remove towards top.
Remove oil filter element.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 42 2AZ.
Installation:
Replace sealing rings and coat with oil.
Release clamps (1).
Detach vent hoses (2).
