7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Release screws.
Installation:
Observe standard tightening torque of M7 screws.
Caution!
If the oil filter housing (1) is removed at an angle to the rear,
too much oil will enter the cooling system!
Lift out oil filter housing (1) horizontally and remove.
Remove gasket (1).
Installation:
Replace gasket (1).
Remove gasket remnants from sealing face (2).
To prevent later complaints of engine leakages, carry out the
following work step without fail!
