Caution!
If engine oil (1) has permeated the coolant, it must be
completely absorbed with a clean cloth or blotting paper.
Installation:
-
Remnants of engine oil and coolant must be removed
from blind tapped holes.

Escaped coolant and engine oil must be removed from
cavities (2) in V-compartment.
-
Clean sealing surfaces.
Release screws.
Remove oil-water heat exchanger (1).
Installation:
Replace profile gaskets (1).
Clean sealing faces (2):
On oil-water heat exchanger (3).
On oil filter housing (4).
Vent cooling system,
refer to 17 00 039.
