Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
Test C: Low Speed OK, No High Speed Right Fan
1. Disconnect Coolant Fan Relay 2. With the Ignition Switch in RUN measure the voltage from terminal 2 to ground at the harness connector.

If battery voltage is measured, go to step 2.

If battery voltage is not measured, check circuit 350 for an open.
2. With the Ignition Switch in RUN, measure the voltage between terminals 2 and 4 at the Coolant Fan Relay 2 harness connector.

If battery voltage is measured, go to step 3.
^
If battery voltage is not measured, check circuit 15O5 for an open.
3. Enter diagnostics and select PCM override ES08. Set diagnostic display to 01 and connect a test lamp between terminals 2 and 5 at the Coolant
Fan Relay 2 harness connector.
^
If test lamp does not light, check circuit 536 for an open.
^
If test lamp lights, check terminal contact at Coolant Fan Relay 2. If OK, replace Coolant Fan Relay 2.
