Hood Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair
Hood Release with Broken Cable

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Mask off the lower edge of the hood to protect the paint.
2. Cut across the top of each square in the grille.
3. Remove the remaining two grille screws.
4. Remove the grille.
5. Reach under the core support to open the hood.
6. Replace the hood release cable. 

IMPORTANT:  Check the hood operation before installing the new grille.

7. Replace the grille.
